Q2（短期团聚）签证：是中国驻该国使领馆发给被探望者为中国公民或持中国永久居留权的外国人的国外家庭成员的短期来华期探望的签证；这些家庭成员必须是被探望者的配偶、（岳）父母、子女、子女的配偶、兄弟姐妹、（外）祖父母、（外）孙子女。停留期限小于180天。如有特殊情况经需要在中国境内延期的，由所在地出入境管理局审核通过后签发1次延期且期限小于180天。

Q2(Short-term reunion): Apply at the Chinese Embassy/Consulate/Visa Office in home country.

Abroad family members make short-term visit Chinese citizens who living in domestic; Abroad family members make short-term visit expatriates who hold permanent resident permit. Family members are spouse,mother-in-law,father-in-law,children, children spouse, brothers and sisters, grandparents,grandchildren. Visa effective term no more than 180 days. If special circumstances required to extend in domestic, local Bureau of Exit and Entry Administration to issue once extension and the effective term no more than 180 days.
